Víctor Cantillo se convierte en el quinto refuerzo de nuestra institución. El volante colombiano llega procedente del Clube do Remo de Brasil con el propósito de fortalecer el mediocampo y aportar su liderazgo, calidad técnica y amplia trayectoria en el fútbol profesional.
Nacido el 15 de octubre de 1993 en Zona Bananera, Magdalena, Cantillo ha construido una destacada carrera vistiendo las camisetas de Atlético F. C., Leones F. C., Deportivo Pasto, Junior F. C., Atlético Nacional, Corinthians de Brasil y, recientemente, Clube do Remo.
Su buen desempeño también le abrió las puertas de la Selección Colombia. En 2018 recibió su primera convocatoria para los partidos amistosos de preparación rumbo al Mundial de Rusia y, el 16 de noviembre de 2021, debutó oficialmente con la selección absoluta en el empate 0-0 frente a Paraguay por las Eliminatorias Sudamericanas al Mundial de Catar 2022.
Con la llegada de Víctor Cantillo, nuestra institución suma un jugador con experiencia nacional e internacional, que será un aporte importante para afrontar los objetivos de la temporada.
